Principal, naval architect. Duties included all functions of running asmall business and ship design firm. Technical responsibilities included all facets of boat and ship design including hull design, performance prediction, stability analysis, structural design, piping/system design, tonnage calculations, profile and arrangement design including conceptual planning, project management, construction supervision and management, refit and repair engineering, and crane on barge operations.
